Our Firm

Richard Peacock formed Peacock Law Group of the Lowcountry, LLC in 2009 to help clients find unique solutions to their legal matters.  We focus our law practice on the areas of family law, personal injury law, and criminal law and have many civil litigation clients.  Our firm applies integrity, hard work, and commitment to each of our client’s legal matters.  These values are deeply rooted in our faith, which we apply daily in our firm.

Our Team

Richard D. Peacock

Richard D. Peacock is a Member of The Citadel Class of 1998.  His Bachelor’s Degree is in Business Administration.   He received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from The University of Richmond School of Law and was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2006.

In 2007 Mr. Peacock and his family moved to Bluffton where he practiced in the areas of Personal Injury law, Criminal law, Family law, and Construction law before working with a regional firm practicing insurance defense mostly in the area of Personal Injury law defense.  

In 2009 Mr. Peacock opened Peacock Law Group of the Lowcountry, LLC in the beautiful Lowcountry of South Carolina.  

Mr. Peacock is a member of the South Carolina Bar.  He is a past president of a Business Networking International (BNI) chapter and a current member.   He and his family are members of the Church of the Cross in Bluffton, SC.  Mr. Peacock sits on the Board for the Men of The Cross (Men’s Ministry) at the Church.  He also sits on the Board of Trustees for Cross Schools.   He has previously served as a Board Member for Hospice Care of the Lowcountry.  He is the 2015 favorite Bluffton Attorney Winner of the Readers’ Choice Awards of Hilton Head Monthly magazine.

Claudia Peacock

Claudia graduated from the College of Charleston in 2001 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree.  Claudia taught special education for fourteen years before joining Peacock Law Group as the office manager.
